In this role, you'll play an integral role in the administration of the School and be a critical member of the senior administrative leadership team. You'll oversee daily operations and drive planning and policy development for Finance, Human Resources, Facilities, and Information Technology resources. You'll work with the Dean and the senior administrative leadership team on major initiatives aimed at further strengthening the Schools educational, research and service mission.
You'll spend your time on the following responsibilities:
Develop, forecast, and monitor the SSW budget through detailed analysis and reporting. This includes: resources allocation, contingency planning, and compensation of faculty and staff.
Ensure efficient and effective operation of the schools budget and partner with the Office of Sponsored Projects for grant administration.
Partner with internal departments to manage the lifecycle of faculty and staff.
Serve as a resource on hiring decisions, employee relation issues, and performance evaluations.
Administer University policy and procedures and develops internal planning of organizational changes.
Work directly with the Dean to manage staff as well as activities related to Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion, and employee engagement.
A cover letter is required for consideration.
Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred.
At least five to eight years experience with 3+ years of management experience.
Experience leading cross-functional teams, conflict resolution, and contributing to positive work climate.
Ability to manage time effectively with competing priorities.
Intermediate or advanced Excel skills.
SAP experience preferred.
