Reporting to the Head of School, the CFOO will play a critical role in the day-to-day operations of the organization. The CFOO oversees the Finance, Payroll and Human Resources, Facilities, Housekeeping, Security, Health Center, and Technology departments. The CFOO also works closely with the Head of School and the Board on financial strategy, planning, analysis, and enterprise risk management.
An integral part of the senior leadership team, Foxcroft seeks a collaborative leader to work with other senior administrators, including Assistant Head of School, Admissions and Enrollment, and Institutional Advancement, and to provide a high level of service to employees, students, families, alumnae, trustees, and donors.
The CFOO establishes a clear and positive culture and provides balanced leadership with integrity, authenticity, respect for others, high emotional intelligence, flexibility, innovation, collaboration, and trust building.. They proactively drive the organization to a higher level of performance, efficiency, and growth through inspired action and commitment. They attend and present at meetings of the Board of Trustees, and provide primary support to the Finance, Investment, Audit, and Buildings,Grounds and Technology Committees of the Board.
An excellent listener and communicator, the CFOO is highly effective in one-on-one discussions, when participating in or leading groups, and as an occasional public speaker. They effectively manage all financial matters including revenue, expenditures, and financial support, and ensure that the organization and its mission, programs and services are consistently presented financially and operationally in a strong, positive image to all relevant stakeholders.
