Conducts analyses to understand NYUAD spend in NY and enhance the team's contribution and visibility within the community. Supports in development of department's financial plan and budget and interprets financial reports. Leads staff member to efficiently cover tasks of the department in an independent/autonomous environment. Performs a variety of financial activities including asset identification, developing business processes and workflows, and evaluating and implementing policies. Ensures that systems controls are in place. Responsibilities are within the Financial Analysis and Tax Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines.
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
Preferred Education: Master's Degree Master's in Business Administration.
Required Experience: 7+ years 7+ years' related professional level accounting and financial management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Experience: Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Peoplesoft software applications

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Must be well versed in quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data in NYU systems and be able to strictly follow data privacy and security procedures for data handling and analysis to ensure adherence to legal and institutional standards.
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $110,000.
