We are seeking a new Finance Manager due to a recent promotion of the Finance Director. The salary range of the Finance Manager is $9,738 to $11,882 per month.
About the Finance Manager position: The Finance Manager plans, organizes, directs and coordinates the activities of the Finance division within the Finance Department including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation; ensures regulatory compliance and coordinates audit and budget activities with other divisions and departments; and provides highly complex staff assistance to the Director of Finance.
Experience: Five years of increasingly responsible experience in management, or administrative accounting, including two years of supervisory responsibility.
Training: Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business, finance, accounting, economics or a related field. A Master’s degree is strongly preferred.
License and Certificate: Possession of a valid California Class C Driver’s License may be required at the time of appointment. Individuals who do not meet this requirement due to a physical disability will be considered for accommodation on a case-by-case basis.
Certification as a Public Accountant is desired. Experience working as a finance professional for a government agency is also desired.
