We are looking for a Director of Finance who will oversee the efforts, results, and success of IPMG’s Finance Department. This position provides crucial financial advice and support to assist the Executive Team and the Board of Directors in making key decisions. The Director of Finance will oversee a team of accounting professionals and will report directly to IPMG’s CEO.
The right Director of Finance will maintain internal controls and be willing and able to manage future growth and change. The ability to anticipate and recognize change and the ability to implement appropriate systems to quickly support these changes, is crucial. As a member of the Executive Team, here are some of the ways you will help the organization develop and manage an internal system of oversight that supports the mission, vision, and core values of IPMG:
Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner
Manage organizational cash flow, financial accounts, and other financial transactions
Work with the CEO on the annual budgeting process
Oversee financial compliance and reporting requirements
Oversee Medicaid billing
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable
Assess, document, and implement all necessary financial policies and procedures
Maintain internal controls
Oversee and monitor monthly payroll processing
Participate in, engage, and collaborate with the Executive Team and the Board of Directors
IPMG expects the Director of Finance to have strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Analytical, research, and critical thinking skills are also imperative. The Director of Finance must be able to collaborate with organizational leadership and maintain engagement in all aspects of the business.
The Director of Finance should have an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other related field and a minimum of 5 years of financial management experience. Leadership and supervisory experience are required as is knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Candidates must have strong technical skills as well.
In addition to the above requirements, the Director of Finance must have the ability to access the State of Indiana’s operating systems, a current and valid driver’s license, current car insurance and the ability to pass a thorough background screening.
This position will work from a traditional office environment with a standard work schedule of Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm and additional hours as needed. Some occasional travel may be required.
