This position will work with senior management, the Finance staff, and other key leaders to ensure that the Hospital, Clinics, and associated entities are operating effectively, with sound financial analysis, and appropriate financial and operating controls in place. Accountable for overseeing and managing the USC Care provider compensation administration function, including development and administration of compensation plans, performance of compensation and productivity analytics, and preparation of budgets and variance reporting. This includes the preparation of financial statements and other specific supporting schedules, analysis, reports, and reconciliations with overall responsibility over the maintenance of financial records and procedures to adequately safeguard the assets of the Hospitals and Clinics. Â
Minimum Education:â¢Bachelors in business, Economics, or Commerce, with major/emphasis in Accounting â¢Masters in Business Administration preferred. Minimum Experience/Knowledge:â¢7-10 years Hospital and/or Clinic accounting/management experienceâ¢Advanced knowledge of Excel and experience with Lawson, budgeting, and other cost accounting systemsâ¢Highly effective written and verbal skills and ability to multi-task as demands changeâ¢Analytical and critical thinking skills to effective problem-solve financial and operational issuesRequired License/Certification:â¢Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) â If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date. (Required within LA City only)
