The Finance Coordinator will ensure the ESLA helps collect, track, and facilitate various tasks that ensure the smooth daily operations of the school. The Finance Coordinator works to ensure financial transparency and enhance control over operations and the use of school resources. About the Position:
This is a staff position that reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer.
Assists in a variety of aspects related to the School’s finances and financial and business records.
Issues, collects, and tracks invoices, payments, and reimbursements for all school activities.
Assists the Chief Financial Officer in the implementation of systems.
Coordinates and works with Jones & Associates accounting team to provide backup support for accounting/bookkeeping activities.
Provides information as requested to the Board Treasurer and Finance Committee.
Documents invoices and transactions in Bill.com platform and in other payment platforms, as required.
Collects and executes purchase orders from department heads.
Tracks orders and provides shipping information, as needed.
Coordinates with Advancement, Facilities, Kitchen, and other school departments and personnel as needed on invoices payments, budgets, and reimbursements, as needed.
Identifies and resolves discrepancies by preparing documentation for budget-related activities.
Prepares spreadsheets filters, formulas, pivot tables, and charts in MS Excel and using other software.
Scans and deposits checks.
Distributes monthly budget reports to budget managers.
Collects and reviews all fiscal records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Communicates clearly and effectively with faculty, staff, students, families, and external organizations to coordinate activities related to school finances.
Handles school credit card usage professionally, responsibly, and transparently.
Performs other general office duties as needed.

Familiarity with Bill.com and other payment platforms required.
Familiarity with MS Excel and other spreadsheet software required.
Comfortable using and creating spreadsheet filters, formulas, pivot tables, and charts.
Able to effectively use the School’s computers, software programs and electronic systems.
Able to perform arithmetic calculations, compute percentages, and write legibly.
Respects and maintains strict confidentiality of confidential information.
Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
Able to read, comprehend and apply job-related written material and make decisions and act in accordance with applicable School policies and procedures.
Able to effectively communicate, orally and in writing.
