Job Summary Exciting opportunity to join the team responsible for delivering and maintaining world class facilities for the number 1 Pediatric Hospital in the world!
This Facilities Contract Finance Specialist will be responsible to:
Support the accounting and financial reporting of 5-year capital projects plus major building projects. Coordinate and prepare the monthly reporting processes and review reports with facilities management and finance for accuracy prior to distribution
Assist in the daily workflow and ensures the timely approval of contracts, requisitions, and invoices according to BCH policies and procedures
Coordinate/support the administration of construction contracts, ensuring contracts and change orders are properly executed, change orders, job modifications are properly accounted for, and contract terms are met
Support the daily workflow of capital projects Accounts. Assist staff /project managers with daily tasks as required
When applicable, review and process contractor requisitions for payment. Working with the project managers and finance team, coordinate reconciliation of project tracking database to the general ledger on a monthly basis
Assist BCH Project Managers and Planners in the use of Procore Project Management Software, updating budgets and processing invoices.
Coordinate the approval and payment of construction and research invoices as required. Prepare monthly management reports
To qualify, you must have:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance and 2 years' experience required. A Master's degree is preferred.
Financial systems and financial reporting experience is preferred
A working understanding and expertise in the use of PeopleSoft financial reporting systems, and Excel. Hyperion and Procore experience is a plus.
An understanding of the construction process
The analytical skills to resolve scientific, clinical, human resources, legal, financial or administrative problems
