General Responsibilities: Under the general supervision of the Director of Aviation, performs a variety of duties as directed, including budget preparation and management, grant management, and procurement services.
Major Responsibilities and Functions: - Develop, implement, and maintain the airports’ annual Operations & Management and Capital Improvement Program Budgets - Submit invoices for payment to Macon-Bibb County Finance Department and manage airport purchase cards - Serve as the liaison with the FAA and Georgia Department of Transportation on behalf of Macon-Bibb County Finance Department - Procure office equipment, supplies and services which includes working with vendors, negotiating orders and contracts, submitting required information to Macon-Bibb Procurement Department. - Maintain a working knowledge of all airport computer systems, including budget management systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Drive - Manage of all airport business records, files, and agreements - Provide support to other administrative roles - All other assigned tasks
Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, business management, accounting or other related fields of study required.
Preferred experience with Delphi.
Preferred knowledge of CARES Act, ARPA and any other Covid Relief Grants
A combination of five years of experience in bookkeeping, tracking revenues and expenses, grant management, or business management
General clerical skills, including word processing skills, and computer
Ability to quickly learn new computer skills and utilize new programs/software.
