The Health Care Association of Michigan, a Lansing-based trade association, is hiring a full-time Director of Finance. Competitive wages, benefits, 401k and personal time off offered.
Duties
The position is responsible for overall integrity and accuracy of the accounting records by maintaining the general leger for the association operating account.
Specific duties include:
Accounts receivable processes.
Monthly financial statement preparation.
Bank reconciliations for multiple entities.
Development of annual budget.
Overseeing annual tax filings and annual reviews/audits as required.
Serves as staff liaison for association Finance Committee.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other business field required.
Certified Public Account.
Several years of experience with accounting, auditing and banking procedures and single audit requirements is preferred.
Extensive knowledge of QuickBooks software including desktop and online versions.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
