As a member of the School of Information Studies executive council/senior management team, the Director of Finance and Administration will work closely with the Dean, Associate Deans and Program Directors to set financial and budgetary priorities for the School and provide in depth analysis and guidance on the fiscal implications of administrative policies, decisions and changes. S/he will develop and update a comprehensive multi-year financial plan for the School. S/he will supervise and manage a financial team which includes accounting, HR/Payroll, student financial aid and grants administration. S/he will collaborate with the assigned Senior HR Business Partner and other Office of Human Resources functional units to coordinate Human Resources for staff and coordinate the planning for faculty hires. S/he will serve as point person for all financial information needed foraccreditation and other statistical reporting.
