Summary: Responsible for financial-related activities associated with the development, monitoring, reporting of ASTHO???s organization-wide operating budget and non-grant funded activities. The position supports and reports to the Senior Director, FPRA
Location: Remote
Principal Functions:

Supports Senior Director in coordinating and developing of the organization-wide operating budget
-
Collects, enters, and updates data in spreadsheets. Monitor spreadsheets for errors and perform quality checks, following up with staff when needed.

Be able develop tools for tracking, analyzing and forecasting financial data.

Tracks budgeted and non-budgeted IDC and Non-grant expenses against fiscal year budget. Routes unbudgeted expenses for approval.

Maintains tracking and updating of activity level financial performance against the budgets

Prepares and distribute monthly financial information for ASTHO???s non-grant activities and IDC pool

Monitors general ledger for expenses related to ASTHO non-grant and IDC funded activities
Qualifications:
-
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL Project Setup and/or JAMIS Prime is preferred

Advanced MS Excel skills (advanced formulas, functions V-LOOKUP and pivot tables), familiarity with SQL Server and database reporting.

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Financial data analysis, including the ability to analyze data, identify trends, generate reports, data merging and supplemental data sources using automated reporting applications

Experience with system implementation and working with large data sets is preferred.
