The Director of Finance Operations will lead WBURs annual operating budget process including but not limited to, monthly and quarterly projections and direct year-end activities and reporting. This position will manage the day-to-day financial operations of WBUR and oversee organization- wide expenditures, payroll and disbursements processing, grant administration (pre and post-award); miscellaneous receivables and gift processing. The Director will actively participate in strategic planning, lead implementation toward streamlining and modernizing our current business operations and improve effectiveness and efficiencies. The Director manages and cultivates the Business Office team and is responsible for the development and upkeep of organizations business-related policies and procedures. The Director will ensure the successful completion of both external and internal deadlines and filings. The Director will report to the Sr. Director of Finance and Administration and will have supervisory responsibilities for three colleagues. WBURs Finance is a small team, therefore it will be necessary to be a hands-on leader.
At least eight years of related work experience required.
Bachelor's degree or relevant experience required. CPA preferred
Five plus years of management experience
