Overview
St. Luke's Health System in Meridian is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team.
Position SummaryUnder limited supervision, the Senior Finance Analyst develops, interprets and implements highly complex financial/accounting concepts and advanced techniques for financial planning and control.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, trended future requirements, operating forecasts and similar complex financial matters.
- Provides expert advisory capability and interpretation on all levels of financial activity.
- Acts as a consultant to management on financial policy, procedure and applications.
- Performs all but the most complex assignments independently.
- Performs difficult and complex work requiring independent judgment and practical application of advanced financial theory.
- Collects, organizes, analyzes and presents data for purposes of evaluation and decision making.
- Provides functional and technical direction to other staff members.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience: 5 years experience in the field or related area.
