Job Summary The Operations Improvement Specialist administers the process improvement initiatives and supports the development of critical business processes and utilizes recognized process improvement methodologies and tools to recommend continuous process enhancement throughout the PFS International revenue cycle.
This Operations Improvement Specialist will be responsible to:
Evaluate, recommend, and or coordinate single and multiple process improvement initiatives to ensure that goals and objectives of the team are accomplished within prescribed time frames.
Determine the need for and carry out improvement efforts of critical business processes and drive continuous process improvement.
Develop and implement key measures for tracking performance that utilize quantitative and qualitative methodologies and data to facilitate operational change
Manage outcome tracking and performance, identify areas that need improvement, and work to develop plan for improvement.
Evaluate charge capture process to ensure accurate capture and reporting of revenue, and regulatory compliance with embassy/other government, self-pay and third party payer requirements.
Perform and analyze revenue & usage reports to ensure focus on full international revenue cycle integrity. Monitor and correct errors/issues, provides feedback and integrates into training, education, and performance metrics
Develop, continuous improvement communication and education on correct charge capture, coding and billing processes to international patient financial center, PFS, and delivery of care sites
Collaborate with management on work plans to adapt systems and processes to accommodate changes.
To qualify, you must have:
A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a closely related field and up to 1 yr experience is required. 2 years plus is preferred.
The skills to identify complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
Ability to review, analyze and interpret data
Ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems and situations quickly and effectively.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
Knowledge and experience is required in process improvement
