Summary of Essential Job Duties:
The Executive Director, International Finance is responsible for the management and supervision of
the finance functions for Cedars-Sinai International (CSI); CSI is the global extension of
Cedars-Sinai's mission, vision and values, committed to the well- being of the global population.
In this capacity, the Executive Director reports to the VP, International Health with a dotted line
reporting relationship to the Senior Vice President, Finance.
The Executive Director assists and supports the VP, CSI to deliver high-quality patient services
and sustainable and impactful
collaborations that raise the standards of healthcare and promotes Cedars-Sinai mission, values,
and philosophy.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for accounting practices, revenue cycle management and revenue integrity for
international patients services, including but not limited to directing and managing the financial
portfolio for CSI.
Develops and manages international payer relations, contracting and managed care plans.
Responsible for negotiating contracts, agreements and conducts financial analysis. Oversees
embassy and other third-party payor relationships.
Develops and manages financial reporting system and processes to support operations and
decision-making. Develops and maintains key indicator report(s) for International Health business. Presents monthly financial results to the leadership team.
Directs and develops strategic financial and market analysis as needed for business proposals;
directs and develops strategic planning for CSI business and global operations.
Responsible for developing the annual budget and long-range financial plan for CSI. Maintains
awareness of quickly evolving global reimbursement landscape.
Oversees the business, financial, and commercial relationships for CSI, including collaboration
with Corporate Finance, Legal, and other key internal and external stakeholders. Coordination with
internal and external legal counsel, as needed.
Oversees the day-to-day operations for International Patient and Global services. Oversees finance
functions for CSI,
* including but not limited to financial management, funds disbursement, revenue generation,
reporting, billing and collections.
Identifies and facilitates access for all international patients; facilitation of physician
services, as needed, for international patients
* Coordinates and integrates with Strategic Operations to support development needs for
international patients
* Responsible for coordination of patient billing and care issues across Cedars-Sinai and
affiliates

performance improvement plans.
Supervises the day-to-day work of employees, assigns work, ensures tasks are completed and
deadlines are met.
Education :
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field Preferred Master's Degree
- MBA in Business Administration, International Business, MS in Finance, Accounting or a related field
License/Certifications:
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of demonstrated success in Finance, International Business or related experience in a large complex organization and/or academic medical center
- Minimum 8 years of managerial experience of department/service line(s) with a team of direct reports
Physical Demands:
- Frequently Sitting at a desk or table with some walking, standing, bending, stooping, or carrying of light objects.
- Performing continuous operation of a personal computer for four hours or more.
- Use of hands and fingers to handle and manipulate objects and/or operate equipment.
