Buckingham Friends School seeks a new Director of Finance and Operations beginning July 2022.  This full-time, 12-month senior administrative position reports directly to the Head of School.  Responsibilities include the following: supervise the work of the school accountant and business office; keep an accurate continuous record of the cash and financial position of the school and manage the financial operation of the school; establish a plan and schedule for the preparation of the annual budget; oversee all school purchasing, financial investments, banking activities, and payroll and benefits programs; and to provide staff support, in conjunction with the Head of School, to the Finance Committee and the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees. Oversee the facilities and physical plant; supervise the work of the facilities staff and outside contractors; coordinate rentals; and provide staff support, in conjunction with the Head of School, to the Physical Plant Committee of the Board of Trustees.
