The Department of Finance at Loyola University Chicago invites applicants to apply for a clinical, non-tenure-track appointment beginning in Fall 2022. The position begins in late August 2022 and ends early May 2023. The teaching load will be seven courses during the academic year. Applicants with previous teaching experience in Finance, as well as business experience, preferably in the Chicago metropolitan area, are preferred. Recent research activities in Finance or related fields are recommended.

The Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago is an AACSB accredited institution. It presently has approximately 2,000 undergraduate and 600+ graduate students, 75 full-time faculty and six endowed chairs. The School is located in the heart of Chicago's Gold Coast, just west of Michigan Avenue and Chicago's historical Water Tower. This location provides the School with close connections to Chicago's business communities. The School also operates academic and executive programs in Rome, Vietnam, and China, among other campuses. The School supports an undergraduate business curriculum, which includes a major and minor in Finance, an evening MBA program with both full-time and part-time students, an EMBA and other executive education programs, and several specialties masters programs including a Master of Science in Finance. Quinlan's undergraduate business program was recently ranked No. 84 (U.S. News & World Report, 2022).

The successful candidate will teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses related to Finance, with a focus on Corporate Finance, Financial Institutions, Investments, and Financial Derivatives. The successful candidate will be a thought-leader in this dynamic evolving area and work with colleagues to develop and maintain an appropriate curriculum.

Minimum Qualifications:

A minimum of an earned master's degree in business administration, math/statistics, or a related field; leadership experience in business; and teaching experience. Although not required, a PhD and a record of recent research activities as defined by AACSB will be preferred. Qualified candidates must demonstrate teaching effectiveness, a strong understanding of and commitment to the mission of the university.
