The Advancement Events, Finance & Operations Coordinator works in partnership with the Advancement Events team to increase alumni engagement and strengthen donor relationships by coordinating and facilitating events related contracts, submitting supplier invoices, and budget tracking, as well as planning and logistical support for virtual and in-person events. In this role, the Coordinator serves as a vital subject matter expert on event finances and operations for the Advancement Events Team and its event partners across the division and campus. The Advancement Events Finance and Operations Coordinator develops and maintains strong working relationships with key business process partners and external vendors that enable them to provide well-informed guidance and excellent customer service. The Coordinator also plays an important role in the planning and execution of select virtual events under the direction of the Assistant Director of Development Events. As a member of the Advancement Events Team, the Advancement Events Finance and Operations Coordinator is similarly essential in the planning and execution of select in-person events.
Bachelorâ™s degree preferred or four years relevant professional experience required
Minimum two yearsâ™ experience in finance and budget tracking experience preferred
Project management experience preferred
Experience in a higher education or non-profit setting preferred
