Job Summary The Assistant Controller’s role is responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records for UCSF Health entities encompassing developing, implementing and monitoring accounting systems, policies and procedures. The Assistant Controller’s role is to assist the Controller in the managing of the financial reporting of UCSF Health. Hospital Accounting is broken out into General Accounting, Revenue Accounting and Cash Accounting. The Assistant Controller would be responsible for managing, preparing, administering, and directing the work done in these areas including researching and assessing high risk or unusual transactions, coordinating internal and external reporting and presenting to various levels of management.
