We are looking for a dynamic FP&A leader to partner with our Technology & Security groups taking a consultative approach as a trusted advisor while diving deep into the numbers and establishing a target for best-in-class resource allocation. Will lead budget development and adherence, forecasting, and financial reporting & analyses for all Security and Technology department(s) and/or member(s) of the management team. Will also serve as a liaison to facilitate meeting all their financial needs. The Sr. FP&A Manager will be a collaborative teammate to other Finance-related functions providing support to the close process, inclusive of CapEx/OpEx assessment(s). This leader will be an out of the box problem solver analyzing strategic endeavors, new business opportunities, platform roadmap attainment, CapEx/OpEx, long-term forecasting, new product return on investment, and other ad hoc projects as required. This is an individual contributor role & reports to the Executive Director, FP&A – Technology & Customer Experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead FP&A Partner to VP, Tech-Ops and CISO
Support team & project leaders within the Tech-Ops & Security Functions
Partner with resources driving fast-paced Security and Tech stack transformation
Ensure OpEx forecast accuracy and maximize value of the platform development Roadmap
Lead development of the Technology budget and update forecasts based on ongoing business performance
Drive transparency on operational effectiveness to Technology leaders, FP&A and Executive Leadership (primarily CFO & COO); Subject matter authority for Technology’s financial Key Performance Indicators
Report on actual financial results against targets, provide analysis of variances, and assist in guidance on future trends
Assist with other Finance activities, including, but not limited to accounting during month end close process
Influence strong cross-functional communications and enhance efficiencies by leading teams through operational improvement efforts
Actively support ongoing improvement of TriNet’s financial, planning and business intelligence systems • Perform ad hoc financial analysis projects and report preparation as identified by management team
Ad-Hoc reporting and analysis
Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion
Job requirements and qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred.
Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates): CPA or CMA preferred; Tableau and/or Anaplan experience preferred Experience:
3+ years’ experience as Senior Manager or Manager Financial Planning and Analysis, or like experience
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong leadership skills required
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. Tableau dashboard development
Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
Articulate, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to think creatively and work independently!
Proven ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity
Demonstrated dedication to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced business and constantly evolving work environment while balancing multiple priorities
WORK ENVIRONMENT/OTHER INFORMATION (Travel required, physical requirements, on-call schedules, etc.)
Some travel required (5-25%)
Overtime as required (0-25 hours per month)
