The Peter Stark Producing Program within the School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California seeks a professional with high-level practical experience within the film industry to teach an advanced level course in the field of film and television financial strategy. This course is an experiential course in which students will develop financing strategies as applied to creative projects.
Qualified candidates will have extensive experience as a producer or executive with an intimate knowledge of film financing strategies and television sales.
Minimum Education: Bachelorâs degree
Minimum Experience: Five years of professional experience as a producer or film/tv executive.
Preferred Education: Master's degree
Preferred Experience: Ten years of professional experience as a producer or film/tv executive. Demonstrated teaching experience, ideally at the college level, but inclusive of professional and community seminars, workshops, and mentorships.
The Peter Stark Producing Program is a graduate program granting a two-year MFA degree in producing for film, television and new media.
