Defines and leads major strategic management initiatives in support of the CIO. Leads major projects within a line of business related to budget, business plans, risk, implementation of policies, standards, methodologies, and/or strategic management projects. Analyzes project implementation status and provides feedback to senior managers. Solves complex issues in implementation and leads the processes needed to correct the problems. Leads strategic and far-reaching initiatives within the organization. Works closely with Senior IT Management to understand their needs and provides appropriate guidance, direction, and communication. Works with the technology management team to implement and enforce policies, standards, and methodologies that require an advanced knowledge of IT roles and organizational design. Assists in managing the resources for the division. Provides input to resource and project allocation. Contributes to the achievement of area objectives.
Bachelor's degree in business information/systems/industrial engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, MBA preferred 10-12 years of experience in broad-based information technology required, at least 5 years of experience in systems management and cost-effective budgetary responsibility, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
