The Development Coordinator will provide fundraising and administrative support to the LVTRise staff. The position will assist with member services, support community functions, help coordinate fundraising activities for the organization, help with board communications and participate in outreach efforts. The position is non-exempt, hourly, and reports to the Executive Director.
Must be able to commit to 40 hours per week with the ability to work a flexible schedule, extended hours, holidays, and/or weekends as needed for special events
Previous administrative experience in a professional office environment required
Strong computer skills in programs such as MS Word, Excel & Outlook; proficiency with basic desktop computing and publishing; familiarity with copiers, scanners, postage meters, and website
Attention to detail, organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Excellent oral and written communication skills with proven effective interpersonal skills
The position necessitates professionalism, confidentiality, and reliability
Must be able to work well independently and in large or small teams
Must have a valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
Preferred Skills, training will be available:
Experience in a nonprofit office environment is a plus
