The Analytics Engineer, Finance will design, develop, and deliver reliable, scalable analytics & insights using DevOps methodologies and Rockwell's Microsoft PaaS platforms. In this role you will design and build Analytical solutions and services focusing the Finance Business requirements. This role is Finance's competitive advantage to delivering business outcomes via actionable analytics, decision intelligence and help our businesses recognize value and here to shape how we deliver analytics solutions going forward.
The Analytics Engineer is multi-skilled engineer who helps to estimate work, accept user stories into delivery increments and complete tasks to deliver the work. Is proficient in Data modelling, Azure Analysis Services, Azure SQL DW, Power BI, Databricks, Open source analytics tools or equivalent.
Designs, codes and tests new Analytics applications, including supporting applications and interfaces
Supports cross-functional development activity in various Analytics and Connected Enterprise related projects, for Finance
Develops and tests infrastructure components in Cloud and Edge-level environments
Proactively monitors industry trends and identifies opportunities to implement new technologies
Manages the DevOps pipeline deployment model
Enables automated testing procedures
Implements software in all environments
Leverages containerization models and works with other engineers and architects to keep the architecture current
Assists in the support and enhancement of applications
Writes high-quality code compliant with regulations
Collaborates with business systems analysts and product owners to define requirements
Be cognizant on the model/report performance for new applications to be built as well as the existing applications and fine tune as necessary
Works with DA&I's Data Governance for implementing the data elements as per the approved standards and guidelines
Analyze, lead, and resolve any production support/break fix issues reported
Works hand in hand with Data Engineers, Enterprise Architect for design and deployment of analytical solutions
Participate in planning sessions in planning the road map of the planned analytical solutions for Finance
Help Finance BI Analysts as SME on the implemented AAS models
This position can be performed from any remote US location
The base salary compensation range for this role in Colorado is $108,080-$135,100 USD Annual with an annual target bonus of 8% of base salary.

Bachelor's Degree in computer science, software engineering, management information systems, or related field
Experience in systems development lifecycle
Experience in Analytical concepts and implementations
Experience with Agile development methodologies and system/process documentation
Experience with server-side architectures and containerization
Experience with DAX, M! (Power Query), SQL, Tabular models, or other domain-specific programming languages
Experience with AAS, SSAS, Power BI, SSMS, Dataflow, SSIS, Data factory, SharePoint
Familiarity with business concepts and data story telling
