DoveLewis Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital is hiring a Financial Controller to join our business and accounting team.
As a Controller, you will be responsible for DoveLewis’ accounting operations, including the production of financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles. This position reports to the Chief Financial and Operating Officer and works closely with our CEO and CAO and department heads across the company to achieve both departmental and organizational goals. This position oversees several members of the accounting and finance team.
Salary range is $95,000-120,000 depending on education, certification and experience.

Who we are looking for:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience.
CPA or CMA preferred
Minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in a similar management role.
Supervisory experience and an ability to work with direct reports and cross-departmentally to establish goals, coach, evaluate and guide professional development.
Strong attention to detail is required
A suitable combination of education, industry training, and experience may substitute.
