The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate planning and forecasting of revenue and gross margin for the Multi-Specialty segment. This involves a proactive understanding of manufacturer contracts and changes thereto with McKesson Specialty Health (MSH) concerning administration fees, vendor cash discount, et cetera provided for distribution services.
The successful candidate will also coordinate with the Pricing team to help plan and forecast for anticipated sell side trends.
Additional duties will include:
Compose and present monthly actual financial performance to plan / forecast to the MSPL Sales team
Assist with the monthly closing
Compose annual and long range financial plans
Compose management presentations
Drive TM1 projects to completion regarding process automation and enhancements
Ad hoc requests where necessary
5+ years accounting, finance, finance analytics or similar experience
Minimum of two (2) years SAP (or equivalent general ledger) reporting experience
Must have the mindset that is oriented to constantly drive process improvement
Proven ability to multi-task while meeting various deadlines
Proven ability to present financials to various audiences (Senior Management and Operations)
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Distribution industry experience is nice to have
Prior sales and margin reporting desired
Excellent oral and written communications skills to effectively interact with a wide variety of people
Education Bachelor degree in finance, accounting, or related field required
MBA in finance or related field a plus
