POSITION SUMMARY: The Assistant Director, Finance and Administration for the Facilities and Campus Services (FCS) department manages the long-range and day-to-day financial and administrative operations. The Assistant Director develops long-range financial planning, analysis and forecasting of trends with the field, accounting and budget preparation for College construction and renovation projects, operating budgets of FCS sections, Integrated Facilities Plan, and Equipment and Alterations Budget information technology requirements. This position provides departmental oversight of budgets to maximize revenue and minimize expenses, while also managing outside contracts and service providers.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience: A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience with increasing responsibility in capital project management is preferred. 5 years of experience at an academic institution is preferred.
REQUIRED HOURS: The regular hours for this full time position are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday. Holiday, weekend and evening work hours may be required. Travel may be required. Regular hours may vary due to needs of the College or division.
