FINANCE AND OPERATIONS ASSISTANT , Sloan School of Managemen - Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship , to provide interpretation of and resolution for highly varied situations and problems, and function as a high-level individual contributor. Will serve as the front line in supporting students, faculty, and guests visiting the center. Responsibilities include ensuring the space is welcoming and well maintained; addressing facility and custodial concerns by serving as the primary contact with MIT/Sloan service providers and external contractors; overseeing the center's card access system and ensuring conference room technology and reservation systems work appropriately; monitoring and reconciling accounts and budget in SAP and shadow system; verifying all purchase card transactions, setting up nad closing out purchase orders and keeping detailed records of expenses for budget review meetings; and assisting with planning and executing on program events and ensuring all academic course requirements have been met.
Job Requirements REQUIRED : high school diploma or its equivalent; three years of administrative, office or related experience; strong organizational and interpersonal skills; attention to detail; ability to develop and follow through on processes, communicate effectively in-person and in writing, and clearly convey expectations and policy compliance; and familiarity with MIT financial systems and processes (SAP, etc.). Must be able to deliver excellent customer service, logistical support, and presentations, including acting as a point of contact, on course delivery days. Job #19649-6
