Job Responsibilities: Lead all of the processes required for the execution of securitization transactions backed by various types of esoteric assets. Manage multiple work streams, often simultaneously, to move from client pitch to execution and ultimate closing of a financing transaction, including: data gathering and analysis; collateral modeling; capital structure modeling; application of rating agency methodology; preparation of rating agency materials; assistance in the preparation of legal documents; preparation of marketing documents; and, education of salesforce and investors. Lead the due diligence process, formulate alternative financing structures, interact with rating agencies, and educate investors about the client’s business and transaction structure. Review transaction offering memoranda and other legal documentation and coordinate marketing and syndication processes with the syndicate and sales force. Assist the group’s senior professionals in originating (pitching) SPO transactions across a variety of asset classes. Create tailored financing solutions for clients. Train, manage, and mentor junior analysts and associates.
Job Requirements: Education Requirements: Master’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Networking or a related field and three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation in securitization and non-traditional asset classes.
Skills Requirements: Must have at least three years of experience in the following skills: • Building or overseeing the building of cashflow models using Excel, VBA and Intex for complex securitization transactions backed by various types of esoteric collateral; • Analyzing and interpreting technical characteristics of underlying portfolio collateral including its projected cashflows, base values and stressed performance to develop a suitable transaction structure; • Utilizing rating agency methodologies related to esoteric assets and model rating agency stresses to optimize transaction structure; • Negotiate terms and structure of esoteric asset-backed transactions and draft transaction documents including term sheets and offering memoranda;
The Employer will also accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Networking or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation in securitization and non-traditional asset classes as equivalent to the Master’s degree and three years of experience.
