The Role Responsibilities
CCIB moved to the New Ways of Working and managing the backlog across business lines and regions is critical to deliver the strategic objectives of Trade Finance. The backlog management process ensures that Trade is prioritizing the most critical items every quarter to maximize the investment output.
This function is part of Trade Finance Product Management and spans across the four pillars of growths, risk, efficiency and foundation. It also covers group and regional requirements & DCDA ideas.
Responsible for the end-to-end process of the backlog management from Ideation to presentation of Trade-off in the MPR/QPR
Gatekeeper for all new requests coming to the Trade backlog, continuously highlight JIRA discipline to ensure single backlog is maintained with transparency and alignment to scorecard
Challenge the ideas from a functional, solution and financial point of view
Conduct LuW Sessions
Provide support for refinement sessions to prioritize items
Provide MIS and Status update on the portfolio; conduct data analysis
Support preparing MPR/QPR decks
Manage business cost related to investments
Support new NWOW process and tool implementation ; help evolve the culture and drive change
Drive Innovation and optimize the current process and tools
Ensure that Trade Finance Portfolio is always compliant to latest CCIB NWoW Standards and Policies. Ensure a zero tolerance of audit findings.

Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.
