Meraki Talent are supporting with the appointment of a permanent Early Careers Manager based in Scotland paying a highly competitive base salary and package.

Its once again looking to set and exceed industry standards with the appointment of a newly created Early Careers Manager.
The Opportunity
The businesses model and ethos is to grow its own talent, so graduate and school leaver appointments are critical to its success. It has a huge accountancy and finance division & presence, with the majority of these hires being aspiring finance professionals so the ideal appointment would be a qualified Accountant that has previously completed a training contract.
On Offer
As the position of Early Careers Manager is a newly created role, the business really has the ability to tailor the level and logistics of the hire. For that reason, it can be based in any of its offices in Scotland – Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen etc. and it could be a full time or part-time appointment (3-4 days). Furthermore, this is a business that was happy to talk flexible and home working once normality resumes.

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:
Taking full ownership and accountability for the Early Careers Programme from attraction to post qualification
Working with the business, Managers and Leadership team to develop & maintain a world class Early Careers Programme
Building and enhancing the companies brand, profile and reputation through the execution of a world class Early Career Programme
The ability to understand and identify current and future skills and Early Career requirements
Build and maintaining relationships with key external stakeholder, organisations and institutes – governing bodies, education institutes, professional qualification bodies etc.
Creation, implementation and supporting of the Early Careers induction & on-boarding experience
Partnering with HR to develop programmes that fully support the business needs and provide utter clarity to the students regarding the support & development they will receive through-out their tenure
Creation, implementation and development of a structure & scalable model to provide to support both line managers and students i.e. mentoring, peer-to-peer support, networks, buddying etc.
Monitoring, analysis and report on student's progress both performance & examinations
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience:
A qualified Accountant with experience of completing a training contract is highly advantageous
Education or recruitment programme experience, ideally within an accountancy & finance environment
HR and/or marketing experience would be advantageous but not essential
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
