The J.P. Morgan Benelux M&A and Corporate Finance team is responsible for execution of public and private M&A transactions involving Benelux corporate and financial sponsor clients and for international clients involving businesses based in the Benelux region. We maintain leading relationships with some of the most prominent clients in the Benelux and aid them, through M&A and corporate finance advice, in delivering on their corporate strategy and structure. We are involved in the vast majority of the major M&A transactions that take place in the Benelux and consistently rank as one of the Benelux's pre-eminent M&A advisory franchises. Often, members of the deal team interact on a daily basis with the client's CEO and CFO
Origination and primarily execution of public and private mergers, acquisitions and disposals across all industry sectors together with other bankers from the M&A team, as well as colleagues from industry and other product teams.

As an Investment Banking Analyst, your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
1. Transaction execution: support due diligence, document preparation, negotiation etc and liaising with relevant counterpart at the client/other advisers (accounting, legal, etc)
2. Working with J.P. Morgan product and sector teams
3. Building and using complex financial models, completing valuation and analytical exercises
4. Drafting presentation materials, management presentations, Board materials, Memoranda, and other presentation materials for use in M&A and capital markets transactions or strategic client dialogue
The work is fast-paced, demanding and intellectually stimulating. We look for candidates with the following:
Outstanding financial analysis and modelling skills
Strong interest and focus on deal execution
Strong academic background, including a master's degree (or equivalent)
CFA Level III certification (or similar)
Solid communication and project management skills
In-depth understanding of investment banking products is preferable (can be enhanced and further built via training)
Experience in dealing with clients and other transactional advisers is preferable (can be enhanced and further built via training)
Experienced in building financial models to help internal and external clients evaluate opportunities
Strong team player
Proficient in MS office applications.
