The Impact You'll Make in this Role

3M has embarked on a global transformation journey. You are experienced in both business and finance transformations working within a global multinational enterprise. Your experience has empowered you to work across divisions, business groups, and shared services to collaborate with leaders, subject matter experts, and teams to transform processes, the flow of information, handoffs, and optimize financial/business relationships that will result in a cohesive global network of people, effective technologies, and efficient processes to ensure value realization in 3M's new operating model known as Advance 3M.

As the Global Business Finance Transformation Director, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Collaborating with leadership teams in Business Finance and Financial Planning and Analysis to lead the vision, develop and implement strategies, design, and execute plan for future state process flows and service delivery to ensure value realization in the new Advance 3M operating model
• Directing the business and financial transformation of 3M's global multinational enterprise working across divisions, business groups, shared services, and corporate staffing organizations
• Lead cross-functional global teams to identify organizational and workflow challenges; and lead change and improvement outcomes aligned with the vision, strategy, and priorities
• Driving consistency and efficiency in 3M's global finance operating models to increase financial/business value realization for new processes, information workflows, organizational handoffs, and service delivery

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
• Ten (10) years of finance or finance related business process experience in a private, public, government or military environment
• Experience delivering solutions in a global multinational enterprise with two (2) billion dollars or more in revenue

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• MBA or master's degree in finance and/or strategy
• Experience leading the business and financial transformation of a global multinational enterprise working across divisions, business groups, shared services, and corporate staffing organizations
• Experience leading cross-functional global teams to identify organizational and workflow challenges; and lead change and improvement outcomes aligned with the vision, strategy, and priorities
• Experience in applying Lean Principles, six sigma, agile, or recognized project management methodologies

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
