This role is the FP&A Analyst supporting HK ICG Business, reporting to the HK ICG FP&A Lead. The candidate is responsible for providing financial planning, analytics support and insights covering HK ICG Businesses.
Comprehensive management of financials pertaining to HK ICG Businesses, including management reporting, financial analysis and stakeholder communications, covering budgeting, forecasting and strategic financial planning
Ensuring analytical understanding of the P&L and Balance Sheet, covering HK ICG Businesses and HK Legal Entities - developing action plans and business ideas where appropriate
Reviewing monthly financial analyses and variance reports to provide insights on business performance and trends
Driving analytics process to provide actionable information and insights from a financial forecasting (forward-looking) perspective
Leading/partaking in strategic projects involving financial analyses, insights and strategic planning
Driving enhancements across analytics capabilities, ensuring robust governance and controls on FP&A processes/tools/models, and identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
Interfacing and leading discussions and actions with stakeholders across the broader Finance function (in Country and Region), and Country Businesses
Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in Banking/Financial Services sectors
Understanding/perspective of the Financial Planning and Analysis processes and frameworks, previous experience in FP&A is not a must
Strong excel modelling skills, analytical and problem solving skills to break down and resolve complex issues
Strong communication skills to articulate and communicate multi-faceted issues
Ability to build and nurture close relationships with Finance and Business partners
Strong influencing skills and ability to work through conflicts
Reporting to HK ICG FP&A Lead
Partnering closely with HK Country and Asia Regional FP&A teams
