We are looking for a highly-driven and motivated Senior Finance Manager to join our fun, professional and dedicated Finance Department based here in Hong Kong. The Finance team acts as a key contributor in managing foodpanda's financial performance and internal control, while it also provides financial, legal, payroll and procurement advisory to support our business growth. Roles and Responsibilities - Responsible for timely and accurate reporting, including participating and monitoring of the month-end closing activities
- Drive innovation in the Finance - Platform Reporting team, and strive for continuous improvement of systems and processes
- Build new processes and constantly challenge the daily accounting and operational processes, including procure-to-pay, billing inquiries handling, AR and AP processing
- Liaise closely with stakeholders across different departments locally and with regional and global teams in Delivery Hero
- Demonstrate strong time management skills by being organized, setting goals and prioritizing the team's task list
- Collaborate with GRC to enhance internal control environment, and monitor compliance with company policies as well as regulatory requirements
- Liaise with external auditors, bankers, legal, etc.
- Take on various other financial projects as required
Qualifications and Requirements - Degree holder in Accountancy or related disciplines with professional accountancy qualification such as HKICPA/ ACCA or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualified working experience; with at least 3 years at managerial level
- Experience in the service / e-commerce industry a plus
- Demonstrable knowledge in statutory reporting requirements and IFRS standards
- Proficient in Excel and strong analytical abilities
- Strong team player and able to motivate people to perform
- Employs a proactive approach and can-do attitude to problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluency in both English and Cantonese is mandatory
