Position Description: The Associate Dean for Finance and Administration serves as the Chief Administrative Officer and provides financial oversight of the entire Fielding School of Public Health, handling a wide range of administrative and financial functions within the School and outside of the School representing the Dean's Office. The incumbent is responsible for managing the School's financial, human and physical resources; establishing administrative and internal financial policies and procedures; planning and organizing for its future and administering its daily operations. The Associate Dean for Finance and Administration serves as the School's liaison to the campus budget office and when appropriate, human resources, legal, research, capital programs, audit and financial offices. In addition to management of Central and Dean's Office staff, there is a dotted line oversight of the Research Director, 5 departments and two large center grants.
