PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Lead a team to prepare the banking returns in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Ensure all reporting requirements are met and carried out in an accurate and a timely manner
• Review projections on regulatory ratios
• Maintain an update to HKMA and CBIRC returns procedures manual
• Take initiative to improve the reporting work process
• Liaise with regulators and auditors related to regulatory reporting issues
• Formulate the approaches and drive the subordinates in performing the user acceptance tests

EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, preferably with a recognised professional accounting qualification
• Minimum of 8 years' relevant experience in Big 4 audit firms, banking or financial industry with at least 3 years' supervisory experience
• Solid knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements
• Able to work independently and under pressure
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in application software including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua an advantage
