Coordinator, Administration and Finance

Phillips Academy seeks a Coordinator to provide administrative assistance for the assistant head for operations and finance (CFO), the general counsel, the business office and the director of human resources. The Coordinator will support all these administrators, including support for all activities involved with their administrative, prospect management, travel, and data needs, as required to achieve their individual and team goals. Excellent attention to detail, communication and organizational skills, as well as proficient computer skills. Self-motivation with the ability to prioritize, take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision is critical. Expert in the MSOffice suite including Excel, Outlook, Word, Power Point, and ability and interest in learning new software packages. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with immediate team and school wide colleagues. Delegate and manage multiple time-sensitive tasks with little supervision. Understand and respect the confidential nature of the work. Keen attention to detail in all aspects of daily and project work. Commitment and ability to articulate the mission of Phillips Academy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills via phone, email, and in person. Ability to diligently proofread communications and other written materials produced by the administrative departments being supported. Bachelor’s degree is preferred with five years of experience working in a fast-paced organization/professional setting as a senior executive assistant, executive administrative assistant, office manager or similar role. Experience in educational setting preferred.
