Keene State College invites applications for the position of Associate Vice President for Finance and Business Affairs to provide oversight and management of KSCâs financial accounting controls in the departments of Budget, Accounting, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Printing Services, and Mail Services, in order to contribute to the goal of fiscal solvency of the College. Reporting to the Vice President for Finance and Administration, the successful candidate will create an operating and fiscal platform for wise and prudent asset management through the oversight of annual revenues in excess of $100 million, by developing annual operating and capital budgeting processes, and by preparing year-end financial reporting in concert with System fiscal staff. Additionally, the Associate Vice President provides support, guidance, and instruction to an experienced financial services team within a leadership development context that enables a mindful, thought-provoking, disciplined, focused, and results-oriented foundation based upon truth and integrity.
A Bachelorâs degree and 15 years of experience in Accounting or Finance, or a Masterâs degree and 12 years of experience, or a PhD and 10 years of experience; demonstrated financial management and budget management experience; proficiency with spreadsheets and financial reporting software; familiarity with labor laws; demonstrated leadership abilities; financial planning abilities; outstanding communication and presentation skills; and the ability to build collaborative relationships to assist campus units in accomplishing their goals.
