You will be tasked with providing expert hands-on Java code as well as and leveraging technologies including Kubernetes/Docker, React and Python. You will also be required to work closely with front office teams to define requirements and build rapport.
This role would suit a server-side Java Developer, who has experience with streaming apps / derived data pipelines. Experience with real-time data feeds would be an advantage.
Excellent core Java
Good knowledge of relational databases (Postgres), as well as data ingestion and data pipelines
Expert practitioner of test-driven development, agile methodologies and clean code programming
Financial Services experience is desirable – fixed income/equities product knowledge is preferable
A track record of delivering complex technical solutions to production use
Experience of modern patterns for continuous delivery of software
