My client is a successful Direct Lender in the UK SME markets, they are institutionally backed and provide innovative senior/junior debt to support growth capital up to £10M backed by the cash-flow of the business.

Description

The Senior Financier position will be responsible for ensuring the pipeline of lending transactions from the North of England and Scotland remains strong and in line with their credit profile.

This involves maintaining the relationship with financial intermediaries and prospecting new partners too. It also includes preliminary analysis to ascertain the suitability of transactions for further due diligence.

Profile

The successful candidate for the position will have:

• A track record analysing cash-flow based transactions in either the SME space or within Acquisition/Leveraged finance team looking at the lower & mid markets in the North of the UK
• Outstanding business development skills are essential and a strong network of solicitor, accountants and other financial intermediaries would be ideal
• The drive to chase and develop new business with the desire to put your stamp on a growing business
• Excellent academics
