The successful candidate will be a proactive and highly organized individual with excellent communication skills, who works well both independently and as a team player, adapts well in a fast-paced and changing environment, and has working knowledge of sponsored research policies and federal compliance issues.
Strong financial knowledge, detail orientation and the ability to work independently, creatively solve problems and manage multiple tasks.
Strong administrative, organizational, analytic, and planning skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal, analytic, diplomatic, written and verbal communication skills to work with a diverse group of staff and student leaders.
Strong judgement as well as ability to exercise discretion and maintain high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Competency using a variety of computer software including Microsoft Office suite.
Experience in an academic environment, a Degree in finance or accounting, and advanced Excel skills are all a plus but not required.
