Associate Controller, Finance Operations & Budget
Babson College
Under the direction of the Controller, the Associate Controller, Finance Operations & Budget is responsible for leading both the College-wide budget development and monitoring process; the capital planning process; and ensuring that the College's procurement business, Accounts Payable Operations and financial plans, goals, objectives, governance activities, and customer support levels are met. This professional is responsible for overseeing financial planning, analysis, and engagement in the development of annual budgets and forecasts; leading staff who are responsible for the partnering and supporting senior leaders and managers in strategic budget planning, development, implementation, and control of the College's operating and capital budgets; overseeing Accounts Payable, the College's central and enterprise-wide vendor management function & programs, auxiliary services, and outsourced vendor partners as required, including Mail Services, Campus Store, etc. In addition, the Associate Controller ensures the College's business processes and procurement resources are optimized, and that appropriate information technologies are implemented to increase accountabilities and streamline work processes, and all aspects of assigned business service contracts and vendors. Education Requirements: Minimum Level of Education Required Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; and Master's in Business, Administration, or Finance; CPA Required Position Knowledge/Skills & Abilities Requirements:
