Senior Global Finance Processes Automation Manager, Remote

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for conceptualizing and leading the design of automation initiatives of finance processes within CBRE. Provides direction and manages a team who will support the architecting of automation solutions for financial processes and conduct detailed research via stakeholder meetings to identify where process improvements can be made. Obtains buy-in from key stakeholders on strategic initiatives and sets the expectation for the successful delivery of projects. Responsible for resolving issues that arise and will escalate to the Director as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Works with the team to set direction for the automation strategy employed at CBRE to digitize and automate its Global Finance processes
Identify process streamlining opportunities, automates manual workflows, and sets up measurement tools that generate actionable insight
Reviews process proposals from team, assesses feasibility and timeline expectations. Ensures all work is on track and meets expectations. Identifies any risks to meeting process objectives.
Evaluates and proposes process improvements (Waste elimination, Automation, RPA, Centralization near/offshore) and/or engineers new processes from the ground up.
Works with process users and owners to gain buy-in for process changes.
Works with Architects and process users to launch automated processes and ensures a stable transition to business-as-usual. Problem solves and works with Architects and process users to adjust process problems as they arise.
Monitors, measures, analyzes, and evaluates processes after implementation and/or in current state of execution.
Acts as the automation owner for financial processes in scope.
Accountability to ensure implementation meets the usability requirements of users, stakeholders, customers/citizens and external partners.
Establishes a standard way of measuring user experience; works with change management resources on approach.
Identifies process documentation/writing needs; communicates these needs to the Director effectively
Makes recommendations on process documentation and training needs.
Assesses resource needs of the team and communicates them to Director accordingly.
Performs other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values. QUALIFICATIONS

Prior experience in using process and/or automation technologies (e.g. UiPath RPA, BluePrism, WorkFusion, Celonis, Automation Anywhere OCR, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence) to achieve business outcomes
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Finance, IT, or a related field of study with a minimum of 6-8 year's experience. Master's degree preferred.
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
Ability to apply excellent written and verbal communication skills to accurately explain/report activity. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues and work collaboratively with business partners, key employees, top management, and client groups on various projects.
Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate complex figures. Ability to forecast and prepare budgets. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex financial information and transactions and accounting principles. Ability to independently research complex accounting transactions/issues. Ability to problem-solve, both independently and working as a team. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.
Microsoft Office suite including Microsoft Visio
Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department.
