This is a fully benefits-eligible term appointment ending one year from date of hire with the possibility of renewal. Additional Information: The Carr Center for Human Rights Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School aims to build a more just, peaceful future through human rights research, teaching, and collaboration. The Center's current programs focus on technology and human rights, renewing rights and responsibilities in the U.S., nonviolent action lab, racial justice, and special initiatives. Knowledge of higher education financial systems is strongly preferred. Working knowledge of accounting. Customer service orientation. Desire to work as part of a small team, requiring teamwork and a collegial approach to working with others across the Center, school and university. Excellent organizational skills with particular ability to prioritize work in an environment with multiple and conflicting interests. Outstanding attention to detail. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, intermediate Excel skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to handle complex and confidential information with discretion.
