ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF FINANCE

The Department of Finance within the Tippie College of Business at The University of Iowa invites applications for one or more tenure-track faculty positions in Finance at the Assistant Professor level starting August 18, 2021. All specialty areas in finance will be considered; however, individuals with expertise in corporate finance are especially encouraged to apply. For best consideration, applications should be submitted by December 6, 2020. Position(s) are 100% time with benefits. Tenure-track positions require research, teaching and service. Teaching load may include undergraduate, MBA or PhD courses. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications. Appropriate background checks (e.g. criminal background and credential checks) will be conducted. Tippie College of Business is housed in the John Pappajohn Business Building, which features the Marvin A. Pomerantz Business Library, technology-equipped classrooms, and a behavioral research lab. The Iowa City area community includes Coralville, North Liberty, Solon, and other small towns with a total population of about 100,000. The University both provides and attracts a wide variety of cultural opportunities, Big Ten athletic events, and a number of business endeavors resulting from scientific and educational research that originated at the University of Iowa.
