This position will be part of the Knight Clinical Research Management, Silver Team. This team supports a diverse portfolio ranging from oncology Phase 1 (first in human) solid tumor trials to Phase 2/3 melanoma clinical trials. Trials are complex and require cross functional collaboration.
The mission of the Knight Clinical Research Management organization is to support the conduct of translational clinical research aimed at improving the lives of people and families with cancer by applying innovative strategies for cancer prevention, screening diagnosis and treatment. The support is provided through proactive, high quality and efficient study management in compliance with federal regulations and local policies and procedures. This fast-paced and highly intense research environment require management of complex clinical research studies involving a very vulnerable and sick population.
The OHSU Knight Cancer Institute Sr. CRC Specialist is responsible for the overall management of clinical trials invoicing, billing reconciliation, and eCRIS entry for the Silver Team, with only occasional supervision and assistance. Exercises judgment in taking independent action, and seeks advice as necessary. This includes working with the study team, Knight Clinical Research Management (CRM) finance team, and applicable managers to complete all billing reconciliation and invoicing for the Silver Team.
This Specialist role will also train study coordinators on the billing reconciliation and invoicing process as needed. The Sr. CRC Specialist is responsible for designing, creating, implementing, modifying and maintaining tracking systems to ensure timely resolution of billing errors, and routine reporting to management of invoicing, billing reconciliation, and disease team financial activity. In addition, this role will be responsible for the development of standard workflows around study team invoicing and billing reconciliation processes, collaborating with finance team on the creation of training and applicable tools for study team management and oversight of billing reconciliation and invoicing activities.

Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks at one time
Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills: both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and as part of a team while being collaborative in resolving problems
Proficiency with computers running Windows and PC applications (e.g. MS Excel, Oracle, Access, Word and PowerPoint)
Energy and drive to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to use tact and diplomacy to maintain effective working relationships
Demonstrated critical thinking skills
Strong time management skills
At least three years of clinical trials experience
Experience conducting different phases of projects, including data
Experience with networking and database systems
Working knowledge of Epic
CCRP or ACRP Certification
Typing 40+ wpm
