Our client is a leading Corporate Bank & Investment Bank in London and a tier 1 project finance bank globally. The bank has an excellent track record across corporate lending & debt and structured finance generally, particularly across project finance, Export Finance and Real Estate. You will be involved in originating and execution on Real Estate Financings across the UK/ Europe. Recent track record include office, retail, logistics, residential and alternative sectors
Conduct financial, risk assessment and real estate analysis of new transaction opportunities, including preparation of new loan credit discussion papers and full credit applications
Review of key terms and condition (term sheet) draft for review by D/ED/SED, including initial recommendations for key commercial terms (e.g., leverage, pricing, covenants). Lead certain areas of the legal documentation and negotiation process under supervision
Lead sections of closing process including engagement with internal parties (KYC, OAD, Legal, Compliance) and external parties (valuers, attorneys, agents).
Strong credit / risk analysis and quantitative / numerical skills and working knowledge of and experience with industry documentation.
Technical knowledge and expertise and experience in EMEA real estate finance market.
Comfortable manner with clients/external parties and capable of holding discussions around transaction specifics, due diligence or general market conditions. Capable of building an external peer network.
