Senior Treasury Analyst ll performs more complex treasury transactions and analysis involving cash management, cash forecasting, banking and investments, foreign exchange risk, M&A integration, and global treasury management.
Currency Risk Management
Bid and execute foreign exchange and commodity contracts with relationship banks
Compile foreign exchange exposures and assist with hedge strategy selection
Prepare analysis of foreign currency trends and projections, as needed
Coordinate foreign exchange confirmations and settlements
Monitor counterparty risk
Compile monthly mark-to-market valuations for outstanding derivatives
Intercompany Loans and Current Accounts
Monitor intercompany interest calculations and accounting entries, payment activity and aging schedule
Prepare and maintain intercompany loan documentation
Assist with the month-end closings activities, including the review of accounting entries
Responsible for SOX compliance and regulatory compliance such as Dodd-Frank, EMIR, FBAR, etc.
Projects and Ad-hoc
Analyzes cash positions and liquidity pools making recommendations for improvement.
Performs analysis and recommendations on the development of investment and funding strategies.
Conducts research, analyzes and makes recommendations related to treasury operations.
Lead various departmental projects and perform various ad-hoc requests
3+ years of experience in a multinational public corporation
Experience in currency and/or interest rate hedging preferred
Certified Treasury Professional a plus
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Experience with Oracle, Bloomberg, and GTreasury a plus
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Working knowledge of relevant areas of accounting and finance
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to communicate the results
